Another of my favorites from the trip. I think he has a lot of hope in his eyes.
These children in the photos are in need of many things. If you are interested in helping or would just like more info please leave a comment to that effect and I will get back to you or email me at nedens @ gmail.com (be sure to remove the space before and after the @). Children in the free school can be sponsored for $25 a month which gets them 1 good meal a day (for some the only meal they will eat), a uniform, and school supplies. So as you all take a look at this series please consider helping.

Did you ask him to hold the stick in that position because the manner in which it 'splits' his face has the effect of showing an image that says he is normal and yet creates the illusion that he suffers from a 'deformity' ? Great photo !

@Siren: This is actually a set of bars for a gate he is behind. I didn't ask him to pose or anything. I walked in and saw him that way and quickly took the shot.
