Rose

Posted by Nick Edens (Toledo, United States) on 16 March 2008 in People & Portrait.

Here is another shot of Rose. She is the little girl that had come to the adoption home almost dead. She was completely mall nourished and no one thought she would live. Her father didn't know how to take care of her and her mother was no longer alive. So her father left her alone as a newborn on the bed with some crackers when he went to work.

I know that sounds horrid for us but he really did not understand how to care for her as the mothers take all of that responsibility. He was very sad that he had to give her up to the adoption home but still happy she would be well cared for.

These children in the photos are in need of many things. If you are interested in helping or would just like more info please leave a comment to that effect and I will get back to you or email me at nedens @ gmail.com (be sure to remove the space before and after the @). Children in the free school can be sponsored for $25 a month which gets them 1 good meal a day (for some the only meal they will eat), a uniform, and school supplies. So as you all take a look at this series please consider helping.

I really appreciate everyones comments. They are a great encouragement to me. Thank you!
