A little lonely

Posted by Nick Edens (Toledo, United States) on 21 January 2008 in People & Portrait and Portfolio.

This girl was in trouble for something and was put in a sort of 'time out'.
This is a very welcome change from the culture norm of beatings that happen outside the school. The school however has taken an approach that this should not go on and has a zero tolerance policy for that in their school.

These children in the photos are in need of many things. If you are interested in helping or would just like more info please leave a comment to that effect and I will get back to you or email me at nedens @ gmail.com (be sure to remove the space before and after the @). Children in the free school can be sponsored for $25 a month which gets them 1 good meal a day (for some the only meal they will eat), a uniform, and school supplies. So as you all take a look at this series please consider helping.

I really appreciate everyones comments. They are a great encouragement to me. Thank you!
