Ok we are done with the school shots (at least for now). When we left the school on Monday and headed back to the adoption home I was greated by all of the little kids at the adoption home. As soon as I walked in the door they wanted their photo taken and then wanted to see it on the back. I needed to eat breakfast while it was somewhat warm (it was made while I was helping to take the kids to school) so this shot was a very quick one.
I don't think I have mentioned this yet (if I have I apologize) but all of the photos from the series are taken with natural light only. There were two reasons for this. First was I didn't want to take my 580ex II flash to Haiti. Second was I think the natural light gives a much better indication of how the kids world really looks.
These children in the photos are in need of many things. If you are interested in helping or would just like more info please leave a comment to that effect and I will get back to you or email me at nedens @ gmail.com (be sure to remove the space before and after the @). Children in the free school can be sponsored for $25 a month which gets them 1 good meal a day (for some the only meal they will eat), a uniform, and school supplies. So as you all take a look at this series please consider helping.
I really appreciate everyones comments. They are a great encouragement to me. Thank you!

Very much so like this, the emotions captured within this photograph are part of what make photography so important. I think that it is a photographer's duty to capture the humanity in the world, you've done that.
